    Thank you note to the Cobb County Board of Commissioners
We want to thank the Board of Commissioners for the time and effort they, the county staff making this a reality.  We are grateful for their working alongside the community to make this happen!
 
All the Commissioners worked hard this year to save a large portion of the Tritt property, but also many other properties across Cobb County.  We want to thank Chairman Mike Boyce, for leading the Board of Commissioners to issue the Park Bond 2008, which we voted for & paid for over many years.   He upheld the democratic principles to honor the peoples' vote, and he also ensured this special property was saved.
 
Commissioner Bob Ott, worked well to negotiate an intricate agreement for the Tritt property.  He played a pivotal role in preserving a portion of this 54-acre property for everyone to enjoy, along with the option to purchase the remaining acreage at a later time.
 
Commissioners Birrell, Cupid and Weatherford, supported preserving this greenspace property and others across the county so all citizens of Cobb can enjoy the benefits of these areas for years to come!
